Motorola v3x fit for a Future Professional

 Motorola V3x

Its been a while since the start of classes and ive again noticed mr klandel's cool looking phone ive tried and tested it and in my opinion it is nice!. O yes the motorola v3x is the grandson of the famed v3 and v3i theres quite a few changes in the looks and feel of the phone but i tell you it is still stylish and its got a new professional look which is in my opinion suitable for young professionals.

it boasts a 2 mp camera and a 3g camera for 3g calls it also has an mp3 for playing all you favorite music and a card slot for that extended memory for all you needs. based on my testing the phone is quite heavy and it really provides a nice sturdy grip because of the rubber finish

the phones GUI is similar to almost all motorola phones frankly to tell you its a bit boring and outdated compared to se and nokia in terms of GUI in my opinion but still moto prefers originality by staying with it,the battery life is also good providing 4 days upon minimal usage overall the phone really is nice and sturdy adding up a proffessional look for people.

se t650 a casual looking stylish phone packed with awesome features

Se T650

The second day of school in ama dasmarinas when suddenly a friend went by and we chatted inside the library after a few chit chats he then showed me a phone that he was about to sell it was the sone ericsson t650. A very casual looking phone with high end features.

At first i really thought it was a bussiness phone with its looks but thru minutes of exploring in my opinion its not thats the truth that first impressions don't last the phone has a 3.15 megapixel camera much like your average digicam but i tell you, The images are sure pretty darn crystal clear and it has a lighting feature at the back of the phone for night images, The main downside of the camera is the slow shutter button much like the 5310 xpress music you need to pause for a bit to get that image

the design of the phone is nice with the metal casing and the sleek design providing a nice grip, the main attraction for me is the lighting effects sony added it has 1 on the back and one on the front it isn't that cool on daylight but in nightime i guarantee that it will blow you away

this baby has pre installed games and flash themes for that eye candy graphical user interface experience having a high end screen offers good java games and ita also has a memory slot on it for thousands of images and music files, The main downside of the phone is probably the very small keypad its not for every one's hands in my opinion. Overall se t650 is a nice looking phone with a stylish feature at nighttime offering you The word Casual Plus Stylish.

Sony w810i
I have seen and tried this phone a last couple of days cause ive been removing some malware on the computer of my mom's comare so after doing that the kids asked me to add some java games on their mobile phone upon seeing this phone and trying it one word is on my mind "perfect" o yes thats right se w810i probably one of the most coolest and perfect phones ever created by sony ericsson this mobile phone has a 2 mp camera with a lighting feature much like adding up a little bit of brightness on the images in dark places and a walkman 1.0 offering the best music quality around while using the bundled hpm 70 headset.

Its medium size shape and a very user friendly keypad offers great texting funtionality for those who are text addicts and upon exploring the phone ive discovered that the memory card of the phone is not the expensive m2 version of sony yet it has a memory stick pro duo slot for memory storage, and thats not all having the flash theme functionality it definitley stands out on user interface design the screen is also good offering a large and clear screen for games and images

Symbian Os Full buyout On Nokia MObile Phones?

Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia is paying 264m euros ($410m; £209m) to buy out the other shareholders in handset software firm Symbian.

Nokia, which already owns 48% of the UK-based firm, intends to develop its software to compete with Google's planned Android operating system.
Nokia said Sony Ericsson, Ericsson, Panasonic and Siemens had agreed to sell their stakes in Symbian.

It added that Samsung was also expected to accept the offer.
For its part, Symbian said the takeover was "a fundamental step" in the establishment of the Symbian Foundation, which is expected to start operating in the first half of 2009.
The foundation will bring together Nokia, AT&T, LG, Motorola, NTT Docomo, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments and Vodafone in collaboration on a new, royalty-free open software platform for mobile phones.

According to Nigel Clifford, chief executive of Symbian, it could signal a sea-change in how the software platform is developed.

"We're freeing up innovation - this is epoch-making.

"Nothing like this has been put into the open-source community before."
The aim is to unite several different existing software programs - Symbian OS, S60, UIQ and MOAP. The deal is a logical move

"There was pressure for Nokia to increase its holding, especially since there were owners such as Panasonic and Siemens, who were there for historical reasons."
Android response?
The news comes one day after reports that Google's Android platform for mobile phones had suffered delays.

According to the Wall Street Journal, several firms who had signed up to the open-source platform were having difficulty coming up with their own custom applications in time for the planned launch later this year.
At a Symbian press conference, Kai Oistamo, executive vice-president of Nokia, denied that the takeover was a response to Android.

"This is taking the most proven software to open-source. It has an unparalleled existing ecosystem. It will create a gravitational pull that no developer will be able to ignore," he said.
But Geoff Blaber, an analyst with CCS Insight, questioned how open the platform will be.

"Can the new entity really be open when Nokia has such a vested interest? This may be the stated goal, but in practice it might be more difficult to achieve. We'll have to scrutinise the fine print of the intellectual property rights and articles of association," he said.
To date, more than 200 million Symbian OS based phones have been shipped and the operating system accounts for approximately 7% of the mobile devices market.

Its a big leap for nokia to buy out symbian OS inspite the fact that almost all of their advanced mobile phones up-to-date run on symbian OS...

Is this The start Of the end for Sony Ericsson?

Is this the end for Sony Ericsson?

In an interview with the German newspaper Die Welt Sony CEO Howard Stringer has hinted that Sony may be contemplating a buyout of Sony’s  joint mobile venture with Ericsson.

When asked whether it was time for Sony to end the venture with Ericsson Mr Stringer responded:

It’s certainly been a difficult year, but, buying out a partner is never an easy thing.

A buyout wouldn’t be unprecedented given that Sony is currently buying out its joint music venture with BMG. Mr Stringer seemed to offer an explanation for a possible buyout, namely that he feels Sony Ericsson isn’t as ‘nimble’ as it could be given the need for Sony and Ericsson to consult one another over how the company is run rather than if the company was wholly run by Sony.

Most telling of all though was Mr Stringer’s answer to the question of whether or not Sony Ericsson will be around in three years time:

We have to work together again as we did two years ago or the joint venture will have to find its own solution.

When the interviewer comments that it’s a diplomatic answer, the response from Mr Stringer is that it was intended to be.

It’s these last comments that, in my opinion, really bring home the idea that all is not well with Sony Ericsson. Mr Stringer clearly thinks something has to change at Sony Ericsson, and that something appears to be communication. The question is though, how and why did communication between Sony and Ericsson break down? Why aren’t they working together like they used to?

If Sony did decide to buyout Ericsson it wuld be an enormous risk, after all we shouldn’t forget why they partnered with Ericsson in the first place. On the other hand, if Sony Ericsson continues to do poorly might Sony decide that it just isn’t worth it and pull out entirely?

Cellphone useful information

What The Hell is Bluetooth?!
Most filipino cellphone users these days always use bluetooth mainly for file transfer but almost 80 or 90% of them don't realy know what bluetooth is, A usual thing they will say is "its a feature for connecting a phone to another wirelessly" well thats when crab mentality sucks in. But me no way i have one life to live and i want to know all the things i could before it all ends for me so ill share some information to you guys..

Bluetooth is a wireless protocol utilizing short-range communications technology facilitating data transmission over short distances from fixed and/or mobile devices. The intent behind the development of Bluetooth was the creation of a single digital wireless protocol, capable of connecting multiple devices and overcoming problems arising from synchronization of these devices. Bluetooth uses a radio technology called frequency hopping spread spectrum. It chops up the data being sent and transmits chunks of it on up to 75 different frequencies

its maybe similar to wifi but theres a difference to wifi provides higher throughput and covers greater distances, but requires more expensive hardware and may present higher power consumption. But in bluetooth no need for cables and very high power consuming devices you just need a cellphone.

here are some versions of bluetooth maybe your phone has one take a looka at the these:

Bluetooth 1.1

  • Ratified as IEEE Standard 802.15.1-2002.
  • Many errors found in the 1.0B specifications were fixed.
  • Added support for non-encrypted channels.
  • Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI)

Bluetooth 1.2

This version is backward-compatible with 1.1 and the major enhancements include the following:

  • Faster Connection and Discovery
  • Adaptive frequency-hopping spread spectrum (AFH), which improves resistance to radio frequency interference by avoiding the use of crowded frequencies in the hopping sequence.
  • Higher transmission speeds in practice, up to 721 kbit/s, as in 1.1.
  • Extended Synchronous Connections (eSCO), which improve voice quality of audio links by allowing retransmissions of corrupted packets, and may optionally increase audio latency to provide better support for concurrent data transfer.

Bluetooth 2.0

  • Three times faster transmission speed — up to 10 times (2.1 Mbit/s) in some cases.
  • Reduced complexity of multiple simultaneous connections due to additional bandwidth.
  • Lower power consumption through a reduced duty cycle.

Bluetooth 2.1

  • Extended inquiry response: provides more information during the inquiry procedure to allow better filtering of devices before connection. This information includes the name of the device, a list of services the device supports, as well as other information like the time of day, and pairing information.
  • Sniff subrating: reduces the power consumption when devices are in the sniff low-power mode, especially on links with asymmetric data flows. Human interface devices (HID) are expected to benefit the most, with mouse and keyboard devices increasing the battery life by a factor of 3 to 10. It lets devices decide how long they will wait before sending keepalive messages to one another. Previous Bluetooth implementations featured keep alive message frequencies of up to several times per second. In contrast, the 2.1 specification allows pairs of devices to negotiate this value between them to as infrequently as once every 5 or 10 seconds.
  • Encryption Pause Resume: enables an encryption key to be refreshed, enabling much stronger encryption for connections that stay up for longer than 23.3 hours (one Bluetooth day).
  • Secure Simple Pairing radically improves the pairing experience for Bluetooth devices, while increasing the use and strength of security. It is expected that this feature will significantly increase the use of Bluetooth

there you have it some useful cellphone information about bluetooth hope it helps add a bit of sense and humour on your daily lives.

Motorola V3 One of the best clamshell phones ever to hit the market by storm

Motorola V3

When this phone was released way back in 2004 many people were amazed of its design and  physical appearance, motorola's finest phone model around creates a vibrant and stunning effect on the phone industry with this low priced mobile phone the motorola v3.

Even today the design of the phone is still superb, Its even had upgrades such as the motorola v3x ive experienced using this phone and the thing i saw that almost made me dissapointed is the case of the phone which scrapes off like the old paint on the walls, its pretty damn dirty to look at but looking anymore further i have no more to say but go try this phone.

It has a vga camera and a very little memory of 10 megabytes Mostly seen on very budget mobile phones its screen is really very nice offering a 256k LCD is a great steal for most Phones as budget oriented as these ones you can also configure your Mp3 as msg tones, and for my last sentences on this review ive read many reviews according to the durability of the phone I tell you its as hard and durable as a rock nice one motorola.

Sony Ericsson K550 A mobile Phone Best for Photograph Enthusiasts

Sony Ericsson K550

Sony has made history with its cybershot series making a mobile phone a tool for creativity and photography, having the trademark cybershot this cellphone offers great images with its Carl Zeiss lens. Ive seen the images of the phone and it is superb sony created a monster that bought them success to the mobile industry.

The phone has a 2 megapixel camera capable of taking sharp and clear images suitable for newbie and photographers in a rush to take that sweet stolen imagery. It also has an mp3 player that in my opinion a mediocre type, if you want a decent mp3 player go for the w series of sony.

Im not very comfortable with the little horizontal keypad of the phone maybe its because of my big fingers. the main design and the crisp and clear screen of the phone is great having a camera lens cover makes it even more appealing and noticeable to the public, and the great feature about the cover is when you open it it automatically runs the camera application, also having the shutter button on the sides makes it a mini digital camera. Ever Yet Sony again Dominates on Mobile Imagery with Sony Ericsson K550 And is still on the run for more.
